Windows · local server

Run the server on your own machine: launcher sign-in, package install, local SRTools.

With the local server the private server runs on your own PC, so there is no shared latency and no maintenance window — but you must sign in to Cyrene Launcher.

Steps

  1. Download and run Cyrene Launcher.
  2. Sign in to the launcher — required for the local server. See launcher sign-in.
  3. In the Server URL setting, choose Local Server. A popup offers to download the local March7thHoney package; accept it.
  4. Updates are offered by popup as well, and Settings can check for them manually.
  5. Launch the game. Any username / password pair creates an account on first use — reuse the same pair to load the same save.

The local server can also run against the production client, selected in the launcher's settings.

The game must stay online (connected to your local server) while syncing.

For the local server, SRTools can also export a FreeSR JSON file: drop it in .\Config\Json and import it in game with /json freesr-data.json.

Two different causes:

  1. The game client is corrupted. This can happen on either server type.
  2. The local server failed to fetch hotfix data. Local-only.

For the second: ask another user for a known-good Hotfix.json, click Open Server Folder in Cyrene Launcher, and replace Hotfix.json in your local server folder.

If a VPN breaks launcher sign-in, enable TUN mode in your proxy application.

Enhanced characters require enhanced state(加强状态) to be enabled in game.
